If I told you that losing weight could be fun, you would probably think I was a just some lame motivational speaker or something. Indeed, it is a concrete stereotype that exercising and weight loss is a difficult, painful, and annoying process. Let me tell you though, as a personal trainer - this doesn't have to be the case. In fact, I have a number of clients who come back time and time again, to find out the exact number of kilograms they have lost, and to let me know of the fun things they have been doing in the process.


Over the years, I've heard a huge range of fun weight loss tips - from dieting with friends and family, to fun electronic solutions such as using gaming machines. Indeed, whilst everyone seems to have a different method of losing weight - they all work off the same idea: people are getting out and doing something. This really is the key to it. If you spend your day sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper, phoning friends, and eating - you really are not doing yourself any justice. The thing about weight loss is that it's extremely simple! So simple, people often get too caught up in the complexities of it all. Let me put out the most obvious and intelligent equation of all:


Energy Consumption is greater than energy usage = weight gain.


Energy Usage is greater than consumption = weight loss.


Really, not that difficult at all! If you can remember this simple equation - there is no need to go in to extreme detail about protein, carbohydrates, sodium levels, etc. That is all just a mirage of things created in an attempt to blindside you in to thinking that one diet is better than another. Don't get fooled. All my clients know the above equations - and hence, instead of forcing themselves on to a majorly deficient diet - they just pump up their activity levels, and hence see the weight loss benefits of such action.

So it is necessary to intake good amount of water in your body as it helps in weight loss purpose by flushing out various toxins from your body.


Avoid soft drinks and other drinkable goods as more you. They are not good for human body. If considering about tea, enjoy two three cups of tea per day as it helps in reduction of body fat. Various juices packed with vitamins, calcium and proteins are available in market which can give you more healthy benefits. Your success is in your hands. If you follow these certain tips, no doubt you get succeed in weight loss and gaining a perfect physique to compete with your competitors.

1. The exercise part - do some incline walking


To lose weight as efficiently as possible, you're going to need to combine exercise and diet efforts. One without the other mostly gives sub-par and temporary results.


For exercise, do some simple walking. But make 1 change. Make sure you're walking up an incline. Since most people don't have a hill nearby, a treadmill that inclines is what you'll need to use.


My suggestion... just incline it slightly. Ten to fifteen degrees. Nothing too steep. Then... just walk for 20-25 minutes. Before you start saying inside your head that "it's just walking"... well, try it once and there'll be nothing more to say.

2. The diet part - protein shakes and apples


Obviously there are 2 parts. Notice I don't even touch on your meals... the protein shakes are more mini-meals or snacks. Working with thousands of women has shown me that I need to start with snacks first.

All I want you to do is alternate between eating an apple and drinking a protein shake that has 20-30 grams of protein in it. And of course, eat your normal meals.


Now, to be clear... if you eat healthier you'll get better results. But I'm allowing you to eat you regular foods so you don't feel like you're suffering. The apples and protein shakes will take care of how much you eat during those meals. It'll be less. Smile. That's exactly what we want.
